Delete your account
You can delete your Found account at any time, in either of two ways. Deletion is permanent.
1. In the app
- Open Found and go to Settings.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
Your account and data are removed immediately and you are signed out.
2. By email
Send an email to eyalh747@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my Found account", from the Google address you use to sign in. We verify that the sender matches the account and delete it within a few days, and in any case within 30 days.
What is deleted
- your account, including the email address we stored at sign-in;
- your reel history: every link you submitted, its results and processing details;
- your sign-in token, so the app on your phone can no longer access the service.
What is not deleted
- standard technical server logs, which are kept for a limited period and then deleted;
- our nightly database backups, which are kept for up to 7 days and then deleted, so your data may remain in a backup for that long;
- our table of place names matched to Google Place IDs, which contains no information about you;
- short-lived copies held by processors during reel analysis (Google Gemini deletes uploads within 48 hours; Apify keeps its copy for a few days), which expire on their own.
